For Rostock Wind 2019 on 9 August 2019 at the Radisson Blu Hotel Rostock, Lange Strasse 40, 18055 Rostock.
Section 1 - Validity
The present terms and conditions are applicable to all visitors to Rostock Wind 2019 as well as to all visitors who register via the event organiser for parts of the event or for further offers within the context of Rostock Wind 2019 (Participants). Registration or visiting shall constitute acceptance of these terms and conditions.
Section 2 - Event Organiser
The organiser of Rostock Wind 2019 as well as of the supporting programme is eno energy GmbH, Strasse am Zeltplatz 7, 18230 Ostseebad Rerik, Director Karsten Porm (see Legal information).
During Rostock Wind 2019, three individual forums as well as an evening event will take place; these will be managed independently from an organisational and economic perspective by eno energy GmbH.
Section 3 - Visit to Rostock Wind 2019/ Registration / Conclusion of Contract
Participation in Rostock Wind 2019 requires advance registration. Registration will be centrally via the website www.rostock-wind.com in all cases.
The closing date for registrations for Rostock Wind 2019 is 09 August 2019.
Section 4 - Services/Costs
The participation fees are as follows:
299,00 € for a visit to the symposium only
79,00 € for a visit to the symposium by students only
149,00 € for a visit to the symposium by civil servants only
359,00 € for a visit to the symposium and the evening event with early-booking discount (registration by 31 March 2019)
399,00 € for a visit to the symposium and the evening event (registration between 1 April and 10 August 2019)
The participation fees are subject to value added tax at 19%. From the third registered attendee and above, the event organiser will grant each further participant from the same company a 10% discount on the respective individual price.
By registering and entering your data, you declare that you are willing to pay the participation fee for Rostock Wind 2019. You will receive a corresponding invoice from the event organiser.
Participants shall acquire the right to visit Rostock Wind 2019 when payment of the full participation fee is received. Following invoicing, the full participation fee must be received by the organiser at the latest on the date stated in the invoice; otherwise, the entitlement to participate in the event booked shall be forfeited.
General information on the symposium as well as on the evening event will be published online at www.rostock-wind.com. All information provided online has been prepared to the best of our knowledge and belief. Nevertheless, no guarantee is assumed for the correctness of this information.
The organiser reserves the right to postpone the event, alter the content or cancel the event or individual programme items at short notice given the presence of important circumstances that were not foreseeable at the time of conclusion of the contract (e.g. as a result of force majeure or illness of speakers). The participation fee will be refunded by the event organiser if Rostock Wind 2019 is not held. No farther-reaching claims exist, in particular claims for damages (e.g. travel or accommodation costs) or claims to the holding of a substitute event.
Section 5 - Withdrawal / Cancellation Fees
Participants can cancel their visit to Rostock Wind 2019 at any time. To compensate for the expense already incurred up until the cancellation, the event organiser is however entitled to retain half the participation fees already paid in cases of withdrawal from the event in the period from 01.07. up to 31.07.2019, and one hundred percent in the event of withdrawal from the event as from 01.08.2019. Participants shall retain the right to demonstrate that the event organiser has suffered no or significantly less damage.
Participants undertake to cancel their participation promptly if they are no longer able to participate in Rostock Wind 2019. Section 6 - Liability
The event organiser shall provide damages or compensation for futile expense in the following scope only, irrespective of the legal grounds (e. g. based on legal transactions and similar obligations, violation of obligations or tortious act):
a) Liability for intentional conduct and under a guarantee is unlimited.
b) In cases of gross negligence, liability to companies shall be in the amount of the typical damage foreseeable at the time of conclusion of the contract. Liability with respect to consumers is unlimited.
c) In the event of violation of essential contractual obligations (so-called cardinal obligations) based solely on slight negligence, liability of the event organiser shall be limited to compensation for the foreseeable, contractually-typical damage – including with respect to consumers. If the event organiser is in default with a service, he shall be unrestrictedly liable for this service - including if the matter is accidental - unless the damage would also have occurred given on-time provision of the service. In other respects, liability for ordinary negligence is excluded.
If liability of the event organiser is excluded or limited, this shall also apply to the personal liability of its employees, representatives and vicarious agents. The statutory rulings shall apply in cases of injury to life, limb and health.
Section 7 - Audio and Video Recordings
Participants hereby declare their consent to the event organiser or its authorised persons generally being entitled to prepare and publish video, audio and film recordings of the generally accessible events, and thus also of the person of the participants or visitors, for reference purposes.
Participants are not allowed to make video, audio or film recordings at Rostock Wind 2019 without the prior written consent of the event organiser. Exempt from this ruling are recordings for private use as well as for reporting on Rostock Wind 2019, including via social media platforms, provided other rights (including of third parties) are safeguarded (in particular personal and trademark rights).
Section 8 - Data Protection
Participants hereby declare their consent to use of the data, provided by them, by the event organiser within the scope of the handling of participants, for conducting of the registration process as well as for forwarding farther-reaching information, and/or to the event organiser forwarding this data to the respective individual event organisers as well as to third parties, appointed to execute the contract, for these purposes. This consent shall also apply reciprocally with respect to individual event organisers or to third parties, appointed to execute the contract, who must provide the event organiser with data for registration processing and/or for correct organisation of Rostock Wind 2019 in general.
Participants also agree to their general contact data being provided within the context of individual events, for example for lists of participants for contact purposes.
The event organiser shall not forward the data to other private persons, institutions or other third parties that cannot be allocated to Rostock Wind 2019. Individual event organisers have issued a declaration to the event organiser to the effect that they only use their data within the tight framework of data protection, as applicable in Germany, and in accordance with the consent provided here. Participants can revoke their consent to use of their data at any time - including in parts – by written declaration to the event organiser as well as to the corresponding individual event organisers with whom they have registered.
If the participant does not provide personal data until during RW 2019 (on site or online), Subsections 1 to 3 shall apply accordingly. Further explanations can also be found in the general data protection statement on the RW 2019 website which is likewise part of these GTC (see Data Protection Statement).
Section 9 - Miscellaneous
Participants are not allowed to organise own commercial events or to conduct extensive promotional measures for own purposes at Rostock Wind 2019 without the prior consent of the event organiser. This includes product presentations or the commercial distribution of leaflets.
This does not apply to measures within the scope of professional contact between private persons and/or company representatives (e.g. the exchange of business cards, showing of the own portfolio).
The house rules of the event location as well as smoking bans etc. contained therein shall apply during Rostock Wind 2019. We therefore kindly request all participants to inform themselves of the respective local situation within the scope of the events.
Section 10 - Concluding Provisions
Should parts of these GTC be invalid, the validity of the other parts shall remain unaffected. The content of the invalid part will be adapted such that its original intention is implemented as far as is legally possible.
The event organiser reserves the right to adapt these terms and conditions of participation at any time if necessary in the interests of correct organisation of Rostock Wind 2019. The respectively latest version shall apply.
